Slideshow video tips
Choose the right template
Animoto’s slideshow templates are fully customizable, letting you choose based on theme, look, or even music. By picking a template that closely matches your video theme, you can cut down on the time it'll take you to edit your message. There are dozens of pre-built templates available, so you can quickly and easily find the right fit for your slideshow video.
Use high-quality photos and video clips
Try to upload HD files to your Animoto project. Select video files that are 720p or 1080p, and PNG, or JPG photos that are about 2,000 pixels on their longest side. This will give you consistent, crystal clear video.
Add music
Immerse your viewers in your slideshow with music that complements your message. Explore the music library by mood or genre. If you have a song of your own to add to your slideshow, click the your music tab to upload your track.
